Picture this. A University style teaching hospital serving the Northwest suburbs, located in Carpentersville along the scenic Fox River and right next to the new Longmeadow Parkway bridge. Can you imagine such a thing? Well, I can. It’s been my dream to have such a facility available in the next five years. This of course would truly put Carpentersville on the map for something very positive. The hospital campus would be surrounded by open space and nature paths to walk in a serene, peaceful location ideal for healing. This University Teaching Hospital would attract patients from far and wide to Carpentersville to find health and healing. This would of course forever change our image. We would then be known for our hospital. Carpentersville would become a place to find good paying jobs and with that would come new development and redevelopment. New businesses would line up to come to such a place. We would be attracting hotels, more restaurants, medical supply businesses. People would be proud to call Carpentersville their home. Well, all of this could happen. I have been in contact with a major Illinois University to pursue this dream. Stay tuned. It won’t happen tomorrow, but it truly could happen. For all good things to become reality there first must be an idea ~ A Dream. Remember also that Dreams do come true.
